Tell us about Bianca Ray. How would you describe the brand?

Bianca Ray is an elevated jewellery brand built around lab-grown diamonds, designed to be worn every day.

The feeling behind it is simple. European summers, long lunches, salt in your hair, nowhere to be. Jewellery that moves with you through all of it without needing to come off.

That’s where our colours and designs come from. Ocean greens, warm aperol tones, soft sand neutrals. It’s relaxed, but considered.

 

Where did the idea come from?

Maya: We were always drawn to classic diamond pieces. Tennis bracelets, larger studs, those forever styles. But they often felt just out of reach.

Then we discovered lab-grown diamonds, and everything shifted. The quality was there, the look was the same, but suddenly it felt possible.

From there, it became about creating the pieces we actually wanted to wear, and making them part of an everyday rotation.

What sparked your passion for jewellery?

Talia: Jewellery has always been part of my world. With years of experience behind us, it felt natural to build something of our own.

Lab-grown diamonds gave us a clear direction. There was space for a brand that felt premium but still approachable. Something you’d wear often, not just occasionally.

Designing pieces we genuinely love and wear ourselves has been a big part of it.

What drew you to lab-grown diamonds?

They’re real diamonds. Same structure, same brilliance, same finish.

The only difference is how they’re made.

What that means is you can finally wear those dream pieces without overthinking it. A tennis bracelet, a statement stud, something that fits into your day rather than sitting in a box.

How do you ensure quality?

We work to the same standards used across the industry. Colour sits between D and G, clarity at VS and above.

For stones over 0.50 carats, certification is provided through IGI giving full transparency.

From there, it’s about selection. Every stone is chosen to ensure consistency across the collection.

Was accessibility important when building the brand?

Definitely.

It was never about lowering the standard, it was about making it more realistic. Solid gold, high-quality diamonds, thoughtful design, at a price point that makes sense.

It changes how you buy jewellery. Pieces that once felt out of reach become part of your everyday.

How is Bianca Ray redefining how diamonds are worn?

By changing the moment.

Diamonds don’t need to be saved for events anymore. They can be worn to the beach, to lunch, through the in-between moments.

Our pieces are designed to feel easy. Simple to wear, effortless to layer, and natural to reach for.

What misconceptions are you addressing?

That lab-grown diamonds aren’t real.

They are.

For us, it’s about being clear and honest. High-quality materials, well-made pieces, and transparency around how everything comes together.

What does luxury look like today?

Luxury feels different now.

It’s less about keeping something for later, and more about wearing it now. Quality still matters, but so does how it fits into your life.

Lab-grown diamonds allow for that shift. You get the same level of refinement, just with more freedom around how you wear it.

What’s next for Bianca Ray?

The everyday range is just the start.

We’re already working on new pieces, with a focus on layering, versatility, and styles that carry through seasons without feeling tied to a moment.
